Solutions Director

Job Summary:

The SAP Solution Director is responsible for leading the planning, execution, and delivery of SAP solutions, ensuring alignment with client business goals and driving value creation. This role requires a deep understanding of SAP technologies, strong leadership skills, and the ability to manage complex projects across multiple teams. The SAP Solution Director will work closely with clients, stakeholders, and cross-functional teams to design, implement, and optimize SAP solutions that support business transformation and innovation.

Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Planning & Leadership:

Develop and lead SAP solution strategies that align with clients business objectives.

Provide strategic guidance to executive stakeholders on SAP capabilities, industry best practices, and emerging trends.

Drive solution architecture and design to ensure the highest level of performance, reliability, and security.

Solution Design & Delivery:

Lead the end-to-end solution design, ensuring scalability, reliability, and efficiency.

Collaborate with functional and technical teams to deliver SAP solutions, including S/4HANA, SAP ERP, SAP Cloud Platform, SAP Business Technology Platform, and other SAP products.

Oversee the delivery of SAP projects, ensuring timelines, budgets, and quality standards are met.

Client & Stakeholder Engagement:

Act as the primary point of contact for clients, maintaining strong relationships and ensuring client satisfaction.

Conduct client workshops and presentations to showcase SAP solution capabilities and value.

Gather and analyze client requirements to develop tailored SAP solutions that drive business outcomes.

Team Management & Mentorship:

Lead, mentor, and develop a team of SAP consultants and architects.

Foster a collaborative and inclusive work environment that encourages knowledge sharing and continuous improvement.

Manage team resources effectively to ensure project success and employee growth.

Continuous Improvement & Innovation:

Stay up-to-date with the latest SAP developments, tools, and industry trends.

Identify and implement innovative SAP solutions and technologies that bring added value to clients.

Champion process improvements and best practices to optimize solution delivery.

Qualifications:

Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field.

Experience:

10+ years of experience in SAP solution design, implementation, and management, with a focus on SAP S/4HANA and SAP Cloud solutions.

Proven experience in a leadership role, preferably as a Solution Director, SAP Program Manager, or similar.

Technical Skills:

Deep knowledge of SAP modules, including but not limited to SAP S/4HANA, SAP FICO, SAP MM, SAP SD, SAP HCM, SAP BW, SAP CRM, and SAP BTP.

Proficiency in solution architecture and design principles.

Soft Skills:

Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.

Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.

Ability to manage multiple projects and work in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Certifications:

SAP Certification in relevant modules (e.g., SAP Solution Architect, SAP S/4HANA).

PMP, ITIL, or other relevant project management certifications.
