Our client's Singapore office is actively seeking a solutions engineer to join their team. This role will provide pre-sales support to customers in the Asia Pacific region, including China and Oceania.
Key Responsibilities:
- Developing a comprehensive understanding of our client's products & services, focusing on their applications within the Asia Pacific markets.
- Acting as a strategic partner with the Sales and Business Development teams by keeping updated on regional market trends, identifying opportunities to make products stand out and assist to craft compelling technical propositions.
- Closely collaborate with the sales team to understand and respond to customer requirements with tailored solutions.
- Conduct product demonstrations, effective communication, and build strong relationships with customers.
- Address and resolve technical queries during the sales engagement process; and assist in the onboarding process post-sales.
- Provide training to the sales team on the technical features of products relevant to the APAC markets.
Job Requirements:
- Proven experience in a sales or technical role. A good understanding of the APAC market is advantageous.
- Fluency in Mandarin Chinese to liaise with Mandarin-speaking customers.
- Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, IT or related fields.
- Strong interpersonal and presentation skills
- Sales acumen with a customer-focus approach.
- Experience with aviation and airline data is not mandatory but a bonus.
- Experience with SQL and Python is beneficial.
- Exposure to REST API technology and large data warehousing tools.
Other Information:
- Location: Tanjong Pagar area.
- Working hours: 5-day work week with flexible working arrangements. Candidate must be willing to travel within the APAC region (approximately 15%).
- Salary: Up to S$8,000. (Salary will commensurate according to experience & qualifications).
