As the Sommelier, you will manage an extensive wine list, ensuring precise costing and impeccable organisation. You must be attentive to guests requests, delivering clear and efficient service. With a 70-seat restaurant, the ability to work under pressure and manage time effectively to serve all guests is essential.
In this role, you will also be responsible for training the team on wine-by-the-glass options and proper wine service.
The Sommelier will provide accurate monthly inventory reports and maintain focus on pricing to ensure costs are in line with the budget.
Knowledge of French cuisine is an advantage, enabling you to recommend excellent wine pairings to guests.
