Job Description

• Administer purchasing and receiving procedures for beverages
• Maintaining the wine stock
• Maintaining wine list and writing wine descriptions
• Suggesting food and wine pairings to servers and customers
• Recommending wines based on customer preferences
• Training waitstaff on wines
• Analyse alcoholic beverage business
• Develop and motivate team members through capability development
• Manage compliance with food and beverage hygiene policies and procedures
• Manage cost and quality controls
• Manage guest service
• Possess excellent knowledge of Italian wines
• Understand viticulture, vinification and wine packaging

Requirements

• Able to work split shifts and on Saturday evenings
• Possess Experience in Italian Restaurants
• Knowledge of Italian wines is an added advantage
• Able to lead a team
• Able to work independently
• Expected to start from January 2025
