The job involves working with community-based clients, including schools, day programs, supported workplaces, aged care facilities, and clients homes. The caseload includes both adult and pediatric clients, comprised of those under insurance and private clients.
- Assist clients with a range of communication and swallowing disorders through evidence-based and functional therapeutic interventions.
- Conduct assessments and evaluates clients to identify speech and language development needs
- Plan and execute therapy programme and engaging activities
- Participate in weekly supervision and group sessions with management to enhance clinical skills and ensure quality care.
- Work within a supportive team environment that fosters collaboration, featuring monthly social events and team meetings.
- Conduct periodic reviews with suitable therapy treatments for Holistic Individual Care Plan with client
- Recommend appropriate in applicant or speech devices to assist in individual care plan
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary team and identify intervention to educate family and caregiver
- Review and revise programme schedule for therapy program with proper documentation
Job Requirements:
- Masters/Bachelor Degree in Speech Pathology its equivalent.
- Full registration with the Allied Health Professions Council (AHPC)
- Minimum 3 years clinical experience in a hospital setting, or relevant
- Fully Vaccinated
- Chance for overseas deployment
