Community Occupational Therapist
Provide Occupational Therapy services to persons who are at risk of falls or experience difficulties performing their activities of daily living resulting from their medical conditions, at their homes. The aim of Occupational Therapy is to optimize the patients independence and safety in their activities of daily living in the community.
You will be working closely with our Community Health Team (CHT)
The Challenges
You will assess, develop and implement treatment plans to help individuals achieve optimal independence by improving and restoring skills in activities of self care, daily living, work activities, leisure and play.
You will provide functional, cognitive and perceptual assessment and training of daily activities, facilitate work rehabilitation, prescribe and train in the use of assistive technology or devices, and apply ergonomic principles to performance of occupations.
You will also educate and provide training for family members and caregivers on interventions and care giving skills.
You can also expect to contribute towards continuous quality improvement in the department and provide guidance to trainees and students.
Job Requirements:
A diploma/degree in Occupational Therapy recognised by AHPC
Full-Registration OT preferred. Fresh Graduate will also be considered.

Working hours are flexible (Locum or regular arrangement will both be considered)
