Challenges
You will join a team of professionals to handle clinical procedures required in a study as delegated by the Principal Investigator such as accurate collection of blood samples, biological specimens, and precise data recording. You will participate in the review of protocols to ensure the safety and feasibility of study procedures. You are responsible to administer drugs as prescribed and perform monitoring of research subjects according to protocol in compliance with institution guidelines.
Job Responsibilities
To undertake any formal or informal training required to fulfil the needs of the post.
Participates in the review of protocols to ensure the safety and feasibility of study procedures if required.
To handle all clinical procedures required in a study as delegated by the Principal Investigator such as accurate collection of blood samples and other biological specimens, and precise data recording.
To administer drugs as prescribed, maintain medication knowledge and perform monitoring of research subjects according to protocol and in compliance with institution guidelines.
Demonstrates knowledge in recognition and appropriate nursing intervention for hemodynamic shock; anaphylactic shock; medication adverse reactions.
Documents findings and notifies PI and coordinator, liaising with the study team to ensure adherence of protocol requirements.
Proper communicate with all members of the multidisciplinary team to ensure the best possible safety and care of patient
Requirement
Registered Nurse with a Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Nursing
Chemotherapy trained is preferred.
Possesses skill in IV cannula insertion.
Strong in communication and customer relation skills.
Able to perform 3 rotating shifts.
