TE Connectivity's Product Engineering Teams optimize existing products from information or input provided by marketing, customers, Operation Teams, Development Engineers or other employees. They maintain existing products, processes, and specifications including modifications for new applications consistent with manufacturing techniques and economies. They also initiate and implement programs to continuously improve quality, and cost, while meeting customer requirements and may support and implement product extensions to existing platform products to meet specific customer requirements. They are the key experts in the products they are responsible for at TE.
As a Staff Development Engineer, you will help enable our customers to flourish in the server/networking equipment market. You will tackle challenging, high-speed connector projects and utilize technical tools to guide innovative solutions toward success. Product Development Engineers are highly engaged, foundational members of the product launch team and support product introduction from concept through to production. Development Engineers work directly with Hyperscalers and OEMs to determine specifications and generate solutions while collaborating with internal resources such as manufacturing/quality divisions. This position will be based in Singapore and will work with colleagues in cross functional team.
