Store Supervisor
Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage daily retail outlet operations.
- Conduct morning briefings prior to opening of the retail outlet.
- Drive seamless customer experience.
- Assist the Manager on administrative functions for the retail outlet.
- Review inventory level to recommend action to drive sales and repeat ordering of basic stock.
- Oversee order fulfilment processes for customers in retail outlet.
- Manage merchandising activities to optimise sales performance.
- Estimate needs of businesses and authorize the purchase of foods of the types, qualities and quantities required.
- Conduct regular stock take to ensure inventory accuracy and reconciliation of inventory discrepancies.
- Handle manpower and operational planning for the productive management of the retail outlet, including disciplinary, ad-hoc and regular performance reviews, hiring and firing decisions.
- Keep abreast of all corporate policies, statutory acts and ensure compliance.
- Attend to workplace incidents, manage workplace accidents and report to headquarters.
- Responsible for the payroll (where required to), attendance and leave related matters for employees.
- Cascade and operationalise headquarters directives to the retail outlet.
- Participate in various work group meetings/activities.
Requirements:
- Required to work retail hours, weekends, and public holidays.
- Able to carry load of at least 10kg
- Minimum 7yrs of retail experience with supervisory duties.
- Excellent leadership and management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work well under pressure.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Positive disposition and customer service oriented.
- Good working attitude and strong interpersonal skills.
