Job Description

My client is a global SaaS player with an unrivalled product set.

They provide data and information services to large global enterprise clients throughout the APAC region.

Due to new product launches they are growing their APAC team with a new Strategic Account Management role base out of the Singapore office to looking after Tech companies in India and SEA.

Strategic Account Manager / Director

They are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Strategic Account Director to join the Singapore team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and maintaining long-term relationships with key clients, identifying growth opportunities, and ensuring the successful delivery of our solutions. This role requires a strategic thinker with excellent communication skills and a proven track record in account management.

The Role:

  • Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with top-tier accounts through on-site visits and C-Suite discussions.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for these key clients, ensuring their needs are met and their expectations exceeded.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities within existing accounts, including upselling and cross-selling based on sales intelligence.
  • Personally lead, manage, and run the sales process, bringing in additional resources as required.
  • Generate new business opportunities within large accounts (New Logo business development).
  • Manage and develop strategic business relationships to achieve material and sustainable growth.
  • Manage high-profile accounts spanning broad geographic areas, representing significant revenue, and having diverse and complex needs.
  • Work closely with internal teams such as customer success, analysts, and product development to ensure the successful delivery of solutions.
  • Coordinate with marketing to align strategies and improve client engagement.

Ideal Candidate:

  • Minimum of 10+ years of experience in client management, with significant face-to-face engagement.
  • Must have full working rights in Singapore
  • Experience managing tech organisations in India and SEA
  • Ability to negotiate complex contracting processes with large multinational organizations.
  • Previous experience expanding global accounts within Enterprise clients
  • Previous experience developing new business with enterprise clients
  • Previous experience selling SaaS solutions into Enteprises clients
  • Experience selling into Technology vendors an advantage
  • Strong strategic thinking and relationship management skills.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple accounts and projects simultaneously.
  • Previous experience as a Business Development Representative is a plus.
  • Familiarity with SAS solutions, custom analytics, and working with analysts.
  • Ability to manage high-profile accounts spanning broad geographic areas with diverse and complex needs.
