Our client is a global manufacturing company The role of a Strategic Business Planning and Business Development Manager is to conduct market research and macro analysis to identify future trends and organize, plan, and execute strategic business opportunities for the company's expansion and growth in ASEAN and Australasia in all relevant industries.

Responsibilities
- Partner with Management/key stakeholders to identify the key business opportunities, create a research brief, and develop a research plan that delivers compelling insights.
- Lead, develop and manage primary consumer research execution for data collection and reporting, and conduct advanced analysis when needed.
- Communicate and deliver meaningful research results to key stakeholders and support insights communication.
- Work closely with Japan HQ and each division to align partnership and channel strategies with broader business goals.
- Develop and manage detailed operational timelines to ensure all studies are executed on time and within budget.
- Foster strong, collaborative relationships with stakeholders to ensure effective communication and long-term partnership success.
- Monthly management reporting
What you will receive
- Basic Salary: S$7,000 - S$8,000
- AWS/Fixed Bonus: 1 month (Split into 0.5-month payments in July and December)
- Variable Bonus (Depends on Company and Individual Performance)
- Annual Leave: 14 Days (Up to a maximum of 21 days)

Requirements & Preferences
(Must)
- Minimum Degree in Business, Commerce, Marketing or Economics or equivalent
- At least 6 years of market and data analysis, with at least 3 years of Manager experience in B2B Business settings
- Fluent in English and Japanese (JLPT N2) to liaise with English and Japanese-speaking stakeholders
- Excellent at analyzing public and private sector data and building business strategies, based on understanding of the macro-economic trend
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, adept at producing PowerPoint slides and presentations
- Comfortable with traveling overseas within ASEAN and Australasia region, or another region if requested

- Master's Degree in Business, Commerce, Marketing or Economics or equivalent
- Possess knowledge of glass, chemical manufacturing related industries
