Strategic Procurement Buyer

Strategic Staffing Solutions Internationals client is a multinational electronic manufacturing company that supplies circuit protection products to the electronics, automotive, and electrical industries. The company has a network of global labs that develop new products and product enhancements, provide customer application support, and test products for safety, reliability, and regulatory compliance.

As the company continues to expand, they are seeking a Strategic Procurement Buyer for direct materials in Singapore. In this vital role, you will support the commodity team, including North America plants, in direct materials procurement by following established purchasing policies and procedures, optimizing price, delivery, and terms, and identifying areas for pricing improvements.

What you will do:

• Support commodity team to work with Asia suppliers to solve issues like quality, delivery, components shortage, etc.
• Support on Asia supplier negotiation for assigned commodities for cost reduction, payment term extension, supplier consolidation activities, etc.
• Conduct market research to gain market intelligence and explore new suppliers and product offerings in the Asia market.
• Assist with internal reports according to company policies and procedures
• Other duties as assigned.

What you will need:

• 2+ years of similar experience. (Experience in a global electronics manufacturing company is a plus.)
• Bachelor's or university degree.
• Proficiency in MS Office.
• Strong analytical and communication skills.
• High attention to detail.
• Self-motivated and results-driven mindset.

• Salary range: 50,00079,000 SGD annually
• Incentive package: 10% of the annual salary
