Description
We are seeking a highly organized and strategic Startegy and Corporate Development Manager to provide critical support to our Managing Director. This role is central to driving the company's growth through the development of short, medium, and long-term business strategies. The successful candidate will play a key role in researching and developing business proposals that address immediate improvements, future growth opportunities, and industry disruption, following a framework similar to McKinsey's 3 Horizons.
Responsibilities
Strategic Support & Development:
- Collaborate with the Managing Director to develop and implement strategic business plans across three horizons:
- Horizon 1: Focus on immediate improvements and optimizations within the existing business.
- Horizon 2: Develop business proposals and build capabilities to complement and expand current operations over the next 3 years.
- Horizon 3: Innovate and create strategies aimed at disrupting the industry and positioning Calsius Group as a leader in the industry.
Research & Analysis:
- Conduct thorough research on market trends, emerging technologies, and industry shifts that could impact Calsius Group's strategic direction.
- Analyze data and provide insights to support the development of business proposals and strategic initiatives.
- Prepare detailed reports, white papers, and presentations to communicate research findings and strategic recommendations to senior management.
Business Proposal Development:
- Lead the drafting and refinement of business proposals that align with the company's long-term strategic goals.
- Work with cross-functional teams to gather input, validate assumptions, and ensure that proposals are robust and actionable.
Cross-Department Collaboration:
- Liaise with various departments to ensure alignment of strategic initiatives across the organization.
- Facilitate communication between the Managing Director and other teams, ensuring that strategic objectives are clearly understood and executed.
Special Projects & Initiatives:
- Assist the Managing Director in special projects that drive innovation and growth for the company.
- Take on ad-hoc assignments that require strategic thinking and problem-solving capabilities.
- Support the company's growth initiatives by assisting with grant applications and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.
Requirements
Education: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Strategic Management, or a related field. An MBA or equivalent advanced degree is preferred.
Experience: At least 5 years of experience in strategic planning, business development, or management consulting, with a proven track record of delivering high-impact business strategies.
