QSC is currently seeking a Strategy & Business Operations Manager to be at the forefront of our international team's business growth, supporting various high-impact strategic engagements across the regions and support the execution of sales and business development acceleration and transformation initiatives, aiming at scaling our go-to-market organizations and activities in region (e.g. channel performance management, expansion of our business development capabilities, (re-)designing sales workflows and processes and other business transformation activities). The Strategy & Business Operations Manager will have responsibility for creating project fundamentals, such as work planning, designing and executing analyses, build business cases, developing recommendations for action, supporting change management processes with internal and external stakeholders, and delivering presentations to internal and executive audiences. The Strategy & Business Operations Manager will be a member of the Sales Acceleration & Transformation (SAT) team, and will report to the Director, Sales Acceleration & Transformation
Essential Functions/Core Duties:
1. Strategic projects definition and planning
- Partner with (sales & business development) leaders across region(s) to define and implement strategic growth, acceleration and transformation initiative(s) to support long range business objectives.
- Gathering and analyzing information, formulating, and testing hypotheses and developing and communicating recommendations to the stakeholders.
- Defining, building and maintaining a market model for the regional organizations, implementing a data-driven market analysis & sizing methodology to support the strategic planning process.
2. Strategic projects execution
- Manage the operationalization and execution of strategic projects and programs, through collaborative cross-regional and cross-functional alignments with stakeholders
- Develop implementation strategies that address business requirements and engage appropriate teams that will deliver right outcomes
- Provide regular updates to key stakeholders on the progress of strategic projects including executives, team members, and others in the organization
- Plan for and execute high quality change management throughout strategic projects
- Professionalize and optimize our processes by recurrently monitoring and evaluating performance and making recommendations for improvements
- Organize and coordinate the intake of requirements from the teams, supporting the (re-)design of workflows and optimization of our platforms and tools
- Foster market acceptance of new or transformation initiatives, by keeping oversight on post-launch activities and assessing adoption by go-to-market teams.
3. Cross-functional collaboration
- Provide leadership and coordination on major engagements on day-to-day problem solving with the teams and stakeholders.
- Become recognized both internally and externally as a key go to contact for execution of strategic initiatives.
Job Requirements & Qualifications:
- Undergraduate degree in business related field (Economics, etc) or BA/BS (any major) MBA preferred.
- 5+ years working in a strategy focused role in the AV or IT industry or 2-3 years experience with a top management consulting firm.
- There is a high level of independence needed in this job. This role will be working in cross-functional teams consisting of senior leadership and will be presenting and making recommendations up to the ET level. The supervisor will be involved as needed, but the Associate should demonstrate high ability to be be self-driven and independent.
- High level of proficiency needed with power point and excel, knowledge of CRM systems is a plus.
- Knowledge of AV/IT is a plus.
- Knowledge of go-to-market and product development are a plus.
