The Partnership team in SME Banking is responsible for driving strategic partnerships and collaborations to enhance our ecosystem and deliver innovative solutions to our customers; we work closely with various stakeholders, including regional partners, to develop and execute partnership strategies that drive business growth and create value for our customers. The Customer Segmentation team in SME Banking is responsible for defining the Bank's strategy for serving target SME customer segments regionally.
Job Overview/About the job role:
As the Strategy & Partnerships Manager in SME Banking, you will play two crucial roles: first to develop the Business Banking customer segmentation strategy and business model design, and second to manage and develop strategic partnerships within the ecosystem. You will work closely with internal teams and external partners to build relationships and drive initiatives that support the growth of our SME banking business.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Develop the SME customer segmentation strategy and business model design (50%):
- Identify target SME customer segments and product propositions by conducting market research and assessing industry trends;
- Design effective, efficient, and innovative business operating models and processes to serve the target customer segments;
- Support and coordinate strategic initiatives to drive growth in the SME business.
- Manage and develop strategic partnerships within the ecosystem (50%):
- Identify and evaluate opportunities with key partners within the ecosystem to enhance the Bank's value proposition to Retail and SME customers;
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to execute on the identified ecosystem opportunities, including negotiating and securing partnership agreements and implementing collaboration initiatives;
- Monitor and analyse partnership performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing necessary actions;
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key partners on an ongoing basis, fostering collaboration and driving mutual success.
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or a related field.
- Proven experience in partnership management or in relevant fields, preferably in the financial services industry.
- Strong understanding of regional strategies and ecosystem dynamics.
- Excellent negotiation and communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with diverse stakeholders.
- Strategic mindset with the ability to identify and evaluate opportunities aligned with business objectives.
- Analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyse data and make data-driven decisions.
