Job Description
Life Community is recruiting for an experienced Student CareCentre Supervisor, to lead a team to care and mentor children aged 7 - 12 in a student care setting, by providing quality after-school care support in a homely environment.
You will play an active role to ensure good Centre performance by developing strategies that are in line with the organisation's vision and mission. As a leader at the Centre, you will be building relationships with stakeholders, e.g. parents, volunteers and corporate partners, as well as leveraging on resources in the community, for the well-being of the children.
Key Roles & Responsibilities include:
- Oversee the day-to-day centre operations, including allocation of staff work scheduling & responsibilities.
- Manage the enrolment of students and maintain optimum level of enrolment
- Maintenance of student care facilities to ensure good health and hygiene standards of the premises, and oversee renovations as deemed necessary.
- Plan & implement effective curriculum, programmes and activities for the centre, including enrichment and character development sessions
- Manage staff-related matters (e.g: recruitment, staff development, performance appraisals, conflict management, mentoring) and lead staff meetings & devotion.
- Manage relationships with parents and attend to enquiries, feedback or complaints
- Manage volunteers and partnerships with external organisations to deliver programmes for students.
- Plan & co-ordinate school holiday programmes and student care events
- Prepare regulatory and management reporting and manage regulatory audits.
- Provide oversight over the financial records of the centre, including the inventory listing, management of petty cash.
- Any other duties as assigned by Management.

Requirements
- At least a Polytechnic Diploma in a relevant discipline, preferably early childhood, business, social work or counselling.
- Those without qualifications but have at least 7 years of relevant working experience will also be considered.
- At least 2 years of supervisory experience with strong people management skills.
- Good team player and able to multi-task in a fluid environment
- Good interpersonal and communication skills
