Founded in 2018 by ex-school teachers, Canopy Student Care believes in providing a supportive and enriching environment for children to thrive in their after-school hours. With a vibrant community of 50 students, we aim to foster their holistic development by offering engaging activities, nurturing values, and promoting social interactions.

Job Responsibilities:

As a Student Care Teacher, you will play a crucial role in shaping the experiences of our students. Your responsibilities will include:

1. Implementing age-appropriate activities for children aged 7-11.
2. Assisting students with homework assignments and providing academic support when needed.
3. Facilitating our reflective reading, outdoor and various holiday programs.
4. Promoting a safe and inclusive environment where students can learn, play, and develop their social skills.
5. Engaging students in meaningful conversations and promoting social interactions among students.
6. Collaborating with the center's team to ensure a cohesive experience for students.
7. Ensuring the center's facilities and materials are well-maintained and safe for student use.

We are looking for someone with...

1. A love for working with children and a commitment to their overall development.
2. Good classroom management skills.
3. Strong interpersonal skills to build rapport with students, parents, and colleagues.
4. Student Care WSQ certification or any relevant education qualification will be an advantage.
5. First Aid and CPR certification will be an advantage.
6. Experience in teaching academic subjects in a tuition setting will be considered preferentially.
