Student Care Teacher

Job Summary:

Kinder Growth, a reputable educational institution in Singapore, is seeking a dedicated and experienced Student Care Teacher who specializes in teaching English, Math, Science or Chinese. As a Student Care Teacher at Kinder Growth, you will be responsible for providing a nurturing and stimulating environment for our students, helping them develop their skills in English, Math, Science or Chinese.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver engaging lessons in English, Math, Science or Chinese, incorporating a variety of teaching strategies and resources.
  

• Create a positive and inclusive learning environment that promotes language development, numerical fluency, and scientific inquiry.
  

• Assess students abilities and progress in English, Math, Science or Chinese, providing feedback and recommendations for improvement.
  

• Use effective teaching methods to support students in their learning journey, providing individualized attention and guidance as needed.
  

• Organize and facilitate activities and experiments that foster a love for learning in English, Math, Science or Chinese.
  

• Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement curriculum plans that align with the MOE syllabus or other relevant curricula.
  

• Maintain a safe and conducive learning environment, ensuring students well-being and adhering to safety protocols.
  

• Establish effective communication and rapport with students, parents, and colleagues, fostering a strong partnership in supporting students educational journey.
  

• Contribute to the overall growth and development of the student care program by participating in staff meetings, professional development sessions, and school events.
  

• Co-ordinate with other teachers in the centre in planning daily activities including fetching of students from nearby school.
  

  Qualifications:

• Diploma or degree in Early Childhood Education, English, Mathematics, Science, Chinese or a related field.
  

• Minimum of 2 years of experience teaching young children in a student care or educational setting.
  

• Strong knowledge and understanding of English, Math, Science or Chinese concepts at the primary level.
  

• Familiarity with the MOE syllabus for English, Math, Science or Chinese or other relevant curricula.
  

• Excellent communication skills in English, both oral and written.
  

• Patient, caring, and enthusiastic about working with children and supporting their educational growth.
  

• Good organizational and time management skills, with the ability to plan and implement lessons effectively.
  

• Collaborative and team-oriented mindset, with the ability to work well with colleagues and parents.
  

• Passion for continuous professional growth and a commitment to staying updated with current pedagogical practices in English, Math, Science or Chinese.
