Responsibilities
- Prepares and reviews key project documentation in executing the complete Subsea/Riser interface engineering scope of work as per the project requirements in meeting customer's expectations
- Prepares and reviews project requirement specification, layout and interface drawings, design studies and other engineering deliverables using engineering common network, software and tools
- Coordinates with other engineering team members (i.e. Yard engineering, basic design and etc.), Equipment designers and Client's SURF contractors on technical issues and design solutions in meeting project deliverables
- Participates in project meeting, attends to basic technical queries and issues related to subsea/riser interfaces, reviews and be responsible for Riser interface equipment designer deliverables
- Liaises with owners, Equipment designers, SURF contractors, , statutory and classification authorities for design compliance review and approval on the proposed project plans in meeting project requirements
- Generates and reviews the reports on work progress for submission to owners, statutory and classification authorities for approval and maintains project database for future references
- Preparation of technical specification (TS) for complex riser related packages.
- Technical bid evaluation (TBE) of vendor proposals to aid selection of most suitable proposal for the project.
- Reviews Vendor deliverables
- Manages & Liaises with the selected vendor to deliver the package meeting all the project requirements in a safe and cost-effective manner meeting the schedule.
- Provides engineering inputs to commercial, production and project team members on all aspects to procurement, fabrication, installation, testing and commissioning activities
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical/ Offshore and Marine Engineering or equivalent
- 5 years of experience in Procurement, Planning, Designing, Integration of Subsea/Riser interface design in the oil & gas industry
- Experienced in engineering pre-commissioning and commissioning activities in package
- Possesses good interpersonal skills
- Good problem-solving skills
- Able to multi-task and able to work in a fast-paced environment
