Purpose: To lead in overall Supplier Quality Management including qualifying of potential suppliers, enhance supplier's quality, logistics, technology, cost and service (QLTCS) performance. Strategic development of existing and new suppliers to meet customers and company's needs. The plan shall include semiconductor and analytical industry requirements as part of overall supplier development program.
Key Area of Responsibilities:
- Lead a team of Supplier Quality Manager/Engineer, Supplier Quality Engineers to manage suppliers and support the internal team as well as customers. Including deployment of customer-specific technical requirements, mTPD process management, Technical Qualifications, FAIR, 8D, CAPA, Process validation audits
- To develop low-cost suppliers to meet customers and company's needs
- To develop alternative suppliers in the Mix Low Volume market to support localization and continuous cost reduction needs program
- Develop suppliers technical capabilities, PQP & build-in quality process
- Supply chain ramp, capacity, and resource plan
- Work with strategic and preferred suppliers through regular scorecard sessions to improve QLTCS.
- Drive continuous improvement programs
- Manage Sustainability Requirements in the supply base
- . Continuous automation and improvement of supplier interface for better efficiency, communication, and control (Supplier Satisfaction)
- Supplier Training portal where customer-specific requirements can be deployed. Quality Tools can be communicated - 8D/CAPA, FAIR, PQP (CTQ, Process Flow, PFMEA, Control Plan, MSA, SPC)
Qualification & Experiences:
- Degree in Mechanical, Mechatronics or Engineering and other relevant discipline
- At least 5 year of experience as Supplier Quality & Development Manager in metal fabrication, (related to metal works including assembly, sub-assembly, structural, jigs & fixtures) or precision machining industry
- QMS Lead Auditor / Auditor trained and certified
- Experience in procurement and supplier development activities
- Knowledge of ISO 9001 /14000 requirements, application of various QC, analytical, and troubleshooting tools, and application of various measuring, and inspection equipment
- Ability to communicate with all levels and maintain relations with internal stakeholders, suppliers, customers and management.
- Ability to work in a dynamic environment and quickly adapt to changes
