Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute supply and materials planning strategies to support APAC distribution, ensuring the timely and efficient delivery of products.
- Collaborate closely with internal teams, including product development, procurement, production, and logistics, to align supply plans with demand forecasts and business objectives.
- Monitor inventory levels, analyse demand patterns, and adjust planning parameters to maintain optimal stock levels and minimise excess inventory.
- Coordinate with suppliers and vendors to ensure timely and accurate delivery of materials, negotiating terms and managing supplier relationships to achieve cost-effective solutions.
- Develop and maintain a robust distribution network across the APAC region, identifying opportunities to streamline processes and improve operational efficiency.
- Conduct regular analysis of supply chain performance, identifying risks, bottlenecks, and areas for improvement, and implementing corrective actions as required.
- Prepare and present reports on inventory status, supply chain performance, and key metrics to senior management.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and company policies in supply chain activities.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives in supply planning processes, leveraging data and analytics to optimise supply chain operations.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 5-10 years of experience in supply and materials planning, preferably in a dynamic, fast-growing organisation.
- Strong understanding of supply chain management principles, including demand planning, inventory management, and distribution.
- Proven experience managing supply chain operations across multiple countries in the APAC region.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a data-driven approach.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and external partners.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Detail-oriented with strong organisational and time management skills.
- Fluent in English; additional language skills relevant to the APAC region are advantageous.
