KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Supply Chain
- Partner with business to update forecast based on business plans, identify material adjustments and communicate changes during internal consensus meetings and with local suppliers
- Responsible for maintaining and managing supply planning model and executing purchase requisitions based on demand and forecast
- Coordinate and handle logistics related documents and activities with local 3PL and vendors to strive for operational excellence
- Manage day-to-day 3PL vendor relationships, including local Thailand based, regional and United States-based direct material vendors
- Manage direct material inventory, including month end process, in Thailand 3PL warehouses
- Optimize inventory levels and supply continuity in Thailand warehouses, Thailand Shops and Thailand Central Kitchens
- Act as the key point of contact for all vendor relationships supporting Thailand for direct and indirect material categories including but not limited to ingredients, packaging, MRO, equipment, promotional items, and logistics
- Be the Thailand project lead for all key procurement and supply chain initiatives driven by Headquarters
- Develop and support distribution optimization initiatives (assessment of current network, opportunity identification, strategy development, supplier negotiations, etc.)
- Develop and support strategy, conduct analyses, create and execute RFPs and negotiation processes, develop contracts for direct and indirect strategic sourcing initiatives
- Support and execute the setup of new shop locations in Thailand market
Procurement
- Manage end-to-end procurement activities, including supplier selection, negotiation, contract management, and sourcing strategies.
- Identify and evaluate new suppliers, negotiate pricing, and establish long-term partnerships to ensure quality, reliability, and cost-effectiveness.
- Develop and maintain supplier relationships, including monitoring performance and conducting supplier audits.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Completion of Higher Education and conferred Degree in business or related field
- 5-7 years of supply chain management experience food & beverage industry experience preferred
- Self-motivated with strong time management skills and thrives in a startup-type environment
- Demonstrated experience in strategic sourcing process (data gathering, baseline development, RFP development, proposal analysis, negotiations, contract development, vendor management)
- Demonstrated experience in sales and operations planning (S&OP) and/or advanced planning and scheduling (APS) activities, including demand/supply, production and/or inventory planning
- Experience in international shipping and logistics, specific to the Bangkok and greater Thailand markets (freight forwarding, customs clearance)
- Strong understanding of goods movement process in a manufacturing or distribution environment
- Experience in assessing and tracking KPIs specific to vendor management, S&OP and APS
- Demonstrated expert-level proficiency in Excel (data gathering, data cleansing, analytics)
- Strong oral and written communication skills, demonstrated project management skills
- Location: Role can be based in either Singapore or Thailand.
- Language Proficiency: Candidate must be fluent in Thai (to manage the Thai market/vendors).
