Position Overview:
The Supply Chain Executive will manage and optimize Aprisium's end-to-end supply chain for our IoT sensor analysers, chemicals and equipment for our R&D, Chemistry Lab and associated components. You will play a key role in ensuring the efficient, timely, and cost-effective delivery of materials and products, from procurement through manufacturing and distribution. This position is integral to ensuring that our technology is produced at scale and deployed to our customers on a subscription basis.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee procurement, inventory management, warehousing, production planning, logistics, and distribution to ensure a smooth supply chain flow.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and vendors, negotiate contracts, and ensure the quality and timely delivery of materials and components.
- Implement inventory control strategies, optimize stock levels, and anticipate material needs based on demand forecasts, production schedules, and customer deployments.
- Drive cost efficiency throughout the supply chain by negotiating favorable terms with suppliers, optimizing transportation routes, and minimizing waste and delays.
- Coordinate logistics and delivery of products and spare parts to both domestic and international customers, including ASEAN and Scandinavian regions. Ensure compliance with relevant import/export regulations and transportation standards.
- Work closely with the engineering and manufacturing teams to ensure timely availability of components for product assembly, testing, and deployments. Address any supply issues that could impact production schedules.
- Manage the spare parts supply chain for aftermarket services, ensuring that maintenance and repair operations are supported with adequate inventory levels and rapid replenishment.
- Utilize ERP or other supply chain management systems to track performance, generate reports, and improve decision-making related to inventory, costs, and lead times.
- Identify potential supply chain risks and implement contingency plans to mitigate delays, shortages, and quality issues.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 3-4 years of experience in supply chain management, logistics, or procurement roles, preferably in a manufacturing or technology company.
- Experience working in industries with IoT devices, electrochemical sensors, or fluidics is a plus.
- Familiarity with international supply chain processes and regulations, especially in ASEAN and Scandinavian regions, is highly desirable.
- Strong knowledge of supply chain and inventory management principles.
- Proven ability to negotiate with suppliers and manage vendor relationships.
- Proficiency in ERP or supply chain management software.
- Strong analytical skills with an ability to interpret data and drive decisions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic startup environment and adapt to evolving needs.
