Job Responsibilities:
- Provide strategic leadership to oversee daily warehouse operations.
- Ensure compliance with processes and meet customer expectations and KPIs.
- Responsible for managing P&L performance for designated programs.
- Define operational requirements and implement strategies, technologies, and initiatives to enhance overall performance.
- Maintain regular communication with customers on commercial, operational scope, and contract renewals.
- Enforce safety and security measures within the warehouse.
- Monitor budget controls and allocate resources to ensure efficient use.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements to streamline operations and exceed service targets.
- Foster a positive team culture that encourages best practice sharing and open communication.
- Plan and deliver on-the-job training to enhance staff performance and productivity.
- Ensure stock inventory accuracy and maintain up-to-date records.
- Responsible for verifying petty cash claims, justifying and approving overtime, authorizing leave for reporting staff, and validating vendor purchases and invoices.
- Maintain cleanliness and order in storage and office areas.
To Succeed in This Role, You Should Have:
- Minimum Diploma Holder or Degree holder.
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in managerial position.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (e.g. Excel, Powerpoint, Access, VBA)
- Proficient in using and creating operations dashboards to identify focus areas and drive improvement (e.g. Power BI, Tableau)
- Qualification in warehouse operations and operations excellence will be added advantage.
