Support Staff, Kindergarden Care Centre

The Role

You are responsible for supporting Programme Staff in the daily supervision of children's safety and carrying out of the KCare Centre's programme.

Duties and Responsibilities:

. Understand the duties and responsibilities of the Programme Staff

. Assist Programme Staff in the daily supervision of children's safety and carrying out of the KCare Centre's programme especially for outdoor play and free play, as well as during the two transition periods (i.e. from 7am to 8am and 5pm to 7pm).

. Provide support, warmth and emotional support for the children when needed.

. Ensure the safety and well-being of each individual child. Observe children to detect signs of ill health or emotional disturbance and to evaluate progress.

. Maintain an appropriate atmosphere of safety, learning, and fun, in line with YMCA's philosophy.

. Help Programme Staff during field trips and ad-hoc activities

. Any other duties or projects to be assigned by the immediate superior.

Job Requirements

. Conversant in the English language
