What you will be working on
The Retirement and Health Study (RHS) is the first integrated and multi-disciplinary longitudinal study on older Singaporeans and Permanent Residents, implemented in Singapore. It aims to enrich policy making process by collecting data and generating insights on the interactions amongst the various important dimensions in employment, wealth, health, retirement and expenditures.
As a member of CPF Board's RHS Office, you will play a key role in this initiative, contributing to the collection, analysis, and interpretation of data to support evidence-based policy development.
In this role, you will:
. Work closely with internal and external parties to plan, prepare, and implement the survey.
. Advise and support stakeholders to translate policy requirements into longitudinal survey questions for the RHS.
. Ensure that RHS questionnaires meet the needs for policy requirements, fieldwork and data quality.
. Ensure that the survey program meets questionnaire requirements and smooth running of the program on the field.
. Provide inputs on fieldwork training materials.
. Manage and monitor market research company's data collection approach and progress, including regular audit checks on various aspects during the data collection process to ensure quality control.
. Conduct data quality assurance activities for the longitudinal study.
. Keep track of and facilitate sharing of government research that use the RHS.
What we are looking for
We value the diverse talents and experiences that each individual brings to the table. While mastery of every requirement may not be necessary, familiarity and expertise in some of the following areas will position you for success within this team.
. Relevant experience in questionnaire review, data collection, statistical data management, with exposure to project management
. Knowledge and experience in statistical software (e.g. STATA, Python) will be an advantage
. Proficiency in statistical analysis tools and data visualisation platforms.
. Ability to apply relevant statistical and analytical tools as well as techniques for data processing and compilation.
. Good experience in coordinating and executing study planning activities with external partners.
. Strong communication and collaboration skills to work closely with external entities, including survey companies, academic institutions, and government agencies.
The seniority of appointment and actual corporate job title will commensurate with individual work experiences.
Position is on a 1-year full-time contract directly under the payroll of CPF Board with an option to renew, contingent upon confirmation and subject to organisational needs. Additionally, there is potential for emplacement into a permanent position.
