SWIFT Report Developer

Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled SWIFT AMH Developer to manage, develop, and optimize the SWIFT AMH applications while providing comprehensive technical and production support. The successful candidate will be responsible for report generation using the AMH database and native SQL, ensuring the smooth functioning of systems, and providing continuous improvement and solutions delivery for both ongoing operations and project-based initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and coordinate all technical activities related toSWIFT AMH applications, ensuring effective solutions delivery for business-as-usual operations and projects.
• Track, monitor, and review the performance of development teams, business/system analysts, and ensure timely remediation of any issues.
• Develop reports from the SWIFT AMH Database using native SQL.
• Collaborate with development and technical support teams to troubleshoot issues and provide complete root cause analysis (RCA) to clients.
• Oversee production stability by managing issues, reducing recurrences, and handling change control processes.
• Ensure timely upgrade and maintenance of all software and hardware related to SWIFT AMH.
• Build and maintain client confidence through demonstrable technical expertise and problem-solving capabilities.
• Participate in disaster recovery and business continuity planning activities as needed.
• Research and recommend new technologies, tools, and methodologies to improve systems and meet future banking needs.

Requirements:

• 4-8 years of experience as a SWIFT or Java Developer.
• Strong proficiency with the SWIFT AMH tool, including report generation using the AMH database.
• Solid understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Agile principles.
• Experience in developing and implementing at least one major application.
• Proficiency with Oracle databases, strong SQL skills, Linux OS, APIs, and Agile methodologies.
• In-depth knowledge of SWIFT and AMH systems in a banking environment.
• Experience with software development methodologies and production support processes.
