JD :

In-depth knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server Instances, Database administration and SQL Server components such as Database engine (SSDS), Integration Services(SSIS), Reporting Services(SSRS) and Analysis Services(SSAS) running on Windows Standalone and Cluster servers
Strong understanding and/or working experience of Microsoft SQL Server installation, upgrade, database setup and implementation of SQL Server technologies such as SQLAlwaysOn, Database Mirroring, Log Shipping, SQL Replication and Windows StandaloneClustering using Storage-level replication for High availability and Disaster recovery.
Solid years of experience at least 5-8 years of Banking or Financial institution as SQL Server DBA Level 2 or 3 role
Experience in SQL Server Instance upgrade from SQL Server lower version to latest version and Database migration from one SQL Server to another
Strong knowledge in utilizing SQL Server monitoring and troubleshootingperformance tools such SQLCMD, SQL profiler, Database Import/Export, Database upgrade tool and SQL Server Management Studio
Experience in addressing SQL database alerts/issues, capacity constraints and performance related items.
Demonstrated ability in problem solving, identify tuning opportunities, implement improvement, and advise Production supportdeveloper teams on root cause/analysis, SQL tuning and permanent solution.
Experience on SYBASE Data Server and Replication administration and support will be a plus.
Experience in MS Dos/Powershell scripting, T-SQL scripting and Linux shell/Perl scripting will be plus.
