Position: System Administrator (Permanent)
We are seeking a highly skilled System Administrator to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the administration, maintenance, and troubleshooting of our server infrastructure, including physical and virtual servers, operating systems, and applications.
Responsibilities:
- Monitor server performance and resource utilization.
- Troubleshoot server hardware and software issues.
- Perform regular system updates and security patches.
- Implement and maintain server security best practices.
- Manage and maintain virtual server environments (VMware, AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
- Provision and configure virtual machines.
- Monitor virtual machine performance and resource utilization.
- Perform virtual machine backups and disaster recovery procedures.
- Configure and maintain network switches and other network devices.
- Troubleshoot network connectivity issues.
- Monitor network performance and security.
- Manage and maintain storage systems, including NAS and SAN.
- Perform storage capacity planning and optimization.
- Implement data backup and recovery procedures.
- Install, configure, and maintain applications on servers.
- Troubleshoot application performance issues.
- Provide technical support to end-users.
- Deploy and configure desktop operating systems (Windows, macOS, Linux).
- Join devices to domain and implement group policies.
- Manage user accounts and permissions.
- Troubleshoot desktop hardware and software issues.
- Provide technical support to end-users.
- Enrol and manage mobile devices (iOS, Android).
- Configure device security policies and restrictions.
- Deploy and manage mobile applications.
- Troubleshoot mobile device issues.
Requirements:
- Strong understanding of server hardware and software.
- Experience with virtualization technologies (VMware, AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
- Proficiency in scripting languages (Bash, PowerShell).
- Knowledge of networking concepts and protocols.
- Experience with desktop operating systems (Windows, macOS, Linux).
- Experience with mobile device management solutions.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Relevant certifications (MCSA, MCSE, RHCE, AWS Certified, Azure Certified, Google Cloud Certified) preferred.
Location:
Our office is located at 16 Raffles Quay however, you will be required to travel to our client's sites across Singapore for work-related activities. We will cover the transportation costs between our office and the client's site.
Working Hours: 9:00 am to 6:00 pm, Monday to Friday, excluding public holidays.
Packages:
- Salary: $2,500 to $4,500, depending on experience
- Annual Leave: 14 days per year
- Sick Leave: 14 days per year
