Job Summary

We are seeking an experience Infrastructure engineer with System Administration expertise to provide support OpenShift platform life cycle Kubernetes & Docker.

Mandatory Skill-set

• Diploma /Bachelor's in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field;
• 4-6 years of experience in Administrate the full OpenShift platform life cycle to ensure the platform remains secure, reliable and highly available;
• Experience with Linux operation systems and best practices;
• Well versed in knowledge of monitoring and automation tools- Ex: Netcool;
• Hands-on experience withDocker containerization, Kubernetes orchestration and tools such as Jira and Jenkins;
• Able to manage capacity for OpenShift environments;
• Proficiency with Configure and Manage Monitoring, alerts for the OpenShift environments.

Desired Skill-set

• Red Hat Certified OpenShift Administrator;
• Knowledge in Security Remediation process (vulnerability assessment and patch management);

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with fellow engineers to maintain the OpenShift infrastructure and assist in resolving any infrastructure-related queries or issues;
• Infrastructure Operations and Production Support of container technologies and orchestration platforms (Kubernetes & OpenShift);
• Strong technical analytical and troubleshooting skills and possess an ability to explain technical concepts and provide guidance to staff;
• Proficient to expert in scripting and automation, capable of converting manual and maintenance tasks into fully orchestrated automated processes;
• Must have Strong Knowledge & experience in system monitoring techniques and tools supporting unattended operations;
• Ability to operate in complex, highly secure, and highly available, operations environments and interact with the technology domain experts required to maintain those environments;
• Possesses excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and excels at coaching other support team members by sharing technical and customer knowledge in a helpful and timely manner;
• Responsible for partnering with the Platform, Engineering and Delivery Teams to deliver seamless infrastructure support for all business units;
• Working knowledge of monitoring and automation tools- Ex: Netcool.
