Key Responsibilities
- Develop, test, and maintain ETL processes using Informatica and Pentaho for data integration and transformation.
- Write and optimize Oracle PL/SQL queries for data extraction, manipulation, and reporting purposes.
- Implement and maintain UNIX shell scripting, Perl, and Awk scripts to automate data-related tasks.
- Support financial reporting using Hyperion and Oracle Report Writer.
- Manage job scheduling and batch processes using Tidal Enterprise Scheduler (TES).
- Collaborate with team members to implement Big Data solutions, including data processing and analytics on platforms like HDFS, Spark, Hive, and Scala.
- Conduct ETL processes and data handling on databases such as Oracle, Sybase, and SQL Server.
- Use HP Seaquest for data repository management and HP Quality Center (HPQC) for quality assurance of data pipelines.
- Leverage knowledge of BI tools (e.g., MS BI, Qlik, OBIEE) for reporting and data visualization.
- Contribute to the development of Python scripts to support Big Data ETL processes and workflows.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 8+ years of experience in ETL development, data warehousing, or a similar role.
- Proficiency in Informatica and Pentaho for ETL.
- Strong knowledge of Oracle PL/SQL, Oracle, Sybase, and SQL Server.
- Solid experience in UNIX shell scripting, Perl, and Awk.
- Familiarity with Hyperion and Oracle Report Writer.
- Hands-on experience with Tidal Enterprise Scheduler (TES) or similar job scheduling tools.
- Exposure to Big Data technologies such as HDFS (Hadoop), Spark, Hive, Scala, and Python.
- Knowledge of BI tools including MS BI, Qlik, and OBIEE.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and in a team.
- Familiarity with HP Seaquest and HPQC is a plus.
