System Analyst

. Manage and direct the day-to-day operations of IT services.
. Manage outsourced vendors and in-housed contractors to meet the delivery and operation needs of IT
services.
. Manage change request, service request and production support issues and ensure service levels are
met
. Review system designs and technical specifications to ensure all requirements are captured to meet
system objectives
. Review post production issues and identify root cause and work with vendors on preventive measures
. Plan, execute and support system implementation, software/hardware upgrades and security patches
. Manage the verification of software patches and upgrades for applications
. Measure, monitor and continuously improve performances of IT services

What we are looking for:

. Bachelor or higher degree in IT or equivalent
. At least 3 years of relevant experience in application production support on Java and .NET applications in
both Unix and Windows operating environments.
. Experience in incident management, problem management, release management, root cause analysis
and deployment.
. Understand SDLC and experience working with business users, various IT teams and vendors.
. Knowledge of web languages (e.g. HTML/CSS, JavaScript)
. Familiarity with databases (e.g. Oracle, Microsoft SQL) and application servers (e.g. IIS, WebSphere
Application Server)
. Positive attitude and able to work under pressure
. Excellent technical troubleshooting skills
. Self-driven, creative and team-oriented person with good interpersonal skills
. Sound understanding of the technical aspects of systems integration in an environment with diverse
technology
. Strong communication skills and ability to influence to gain consensus from multiple stakeholders when
required
. Possess strong information acquisition, analytical and problem solving skills
. Good organization skills and able to work with minimal supervision in a rapidly changing environment
. Certification or formal training in ITIL will be an added advantage
