- You will be required to design, implement, and deploy server solutions with Active Directory, Domain Controller, DHCP, DNS, Files and Printing services, WSUS, Certificate Authority, etc.
- Infrastructure Design and Planning Skills
Coordinate with the client/project team to design and plan IT infrastructure solutions that align with the client's requirements.
- Evaluate the existing systems and make necessary recommendations for improvements and upgrades.
You will be required to liaise with suppliers and vendors to source the equipment/system that suits the requirements.
- System Installation and Configuration Skills
Install, configure, and deploy hardware and software systems, including servers, networking equipment, and operating systems.- Ensure proper integration of systems and components.
Design, implement, and manage network configurations, including LAN, WAN, VPN, Routing, Firewall Rules, etc.- Monitor network performance and troubleshoot connectivity issues.
Design, and implement network solutions in accordance to the requirements and the industry best practices.
- Server Administration Skills
Manage and maintain servers, including physical and virtual, ensuring servers reliability and security.
- Carry out routine server maintenance tasks, such as applying the latest security updates, patches, etc.
Manage and maintain servers backup and recovery features to ensure the data is always backed up and the backup image is enabled to recover the system in the event of system failure.- Windows, Linux, Macintosh, etc.
- Project Management Skills
Lead or contribute to technological projects, including system upgrades, migrations, and new technology implementations.- Defines project objectives, creates project plans, and manages resources.
Assess the technological projects and plan the schedule of system implementation accordingly.
- Work with the stakeholders to plan for implementation schedules such as site assessment, system deployment, configuration, testing, commissioning, and maintenance.
Maintain comprehensive documentation for technological projects, including the system configuration, all the submitted reports, and procedures to facilitate troubleshooting and knowledge transfer.
Work with the team to design and plan IT system and infrastructure solutions to meet the client/project needs and requirements.- Install, configure, and deploy hardware and software systems, including servers, workstations, networking equipment, and operating systems.
Design, implement, and manage network solutions and configurations.
- Provide training and technical support to end-users, including troubleshooting hardware and software issues, if required.
