Role:
The Telecommunication Engineer (or Systems Engineer) to work inside of the railway communication infrastructure area, to develop and deploy communication transport solutions (fixed and radio) for large international railway projects.
Main Tasks:
- Analysis of project requirements and propose the solutions accordingly.
- Development of system technical specifications.
- Development of system architectures and integration with 3rd parties systems.
- Technical interface with customers and other contractors.
- Realization of testing and commissioning works on-site.
- Network troubleshooting for both wired and wireless systems.
- Technical support to systems once into operation after commissioning.
- On-site testing and commissioning.
Requirements:
- Tertiary qualification in Electrical and Electronics Engineering.
- Minimum 6years experience working on various communication systems technologies such as fibre-optic transmissions, digital trunked radio, public address and telephony, CCTV surveillance, access management and travel information systems.
- Experience in implementing railway-related projects for LTA.
- Experience in writing technical proposals and presentations.
- Team player with good interpersonal and communication skills.
- Willing to work outside of prime office hours as required.
- Self-motivated and Service oriented.
- Able to work independently with minimum guidance.
