Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and define technical requirements, transforming them into actionable project plans and system improvements.
- Analyze existing systems to identify optimization opportunities, troubleshooting areas for improvement and ensuring data integrity and high availability.
- Develop, test, and maintain complex Oracle SQL and PL/SQL queries, stored procedures, and scripts for business-critical applications.
- Perform database performance tuning, optimization, and data modeling to support efficient data handling and processing.
- Design, schedule, and manage batch jobs using Control M for regular data loads, extracts, and other automation needs.
- Monitor job schedules, troubleshoot errors, and proactively resolve batch processing issues to minimize downtime.
- Work within DevOps frameworks to integrate automated scripts and processes, streamlining deployment, monitoring, and support of database and application systems.
- Collaborate with DevOps teams to support CI/CD pipelines, ensuring seamless database deployments, patches, and rollbacks.
- Provide Level 2/3 support for database-related issues, batch job failures, and application troubleshooting.
Qualifications:
- 3+ years of experience as a Systems Analyst, Systems Design, Application Support, or similar role.
- Proficiency in Oracle PL/SQL, Oracle SQL, batch scripting, Control M, and DevOps practices.
- Experience with shell scripting and other automation tools.
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools and infrastructure-as-code concepts.
- Knowledge of cloud database services and distributed computing frameworks.
