Responsibilities
The candidate will be involved in project activities such as evaluating and recommending suitable technology and solutions, conducting Proofs-of-Concept (POCs), and coordinating projects from ideation through to completion. In addition, the candidate is to provide end users IT service and support within A*STAR EUC environment. This includes installing, diagnosing, repairing, maintaining, and upgrading all IT hardware/software and equipment (including but not limited to PC, IP Phones, and Printers).
Requirements
- Diploma in Computer Engineering, IT or equivalent certifications
- Min 2 years of IT work experience with demonstrated problem solving and customer service skills
- At least 3 years of experience in desktop computing, End User support, server administration and IT security.
- Competent in Windows OS, Apple MacOS, iOS devices and Linux Endpoints.
- Experience in Server Environment and AD Administration and tools including WSUS, Tanium, MS Intune.
- Understanding of IP Phone, LAN, Wifi, WAN, Firewalls, VPN technologies
