Tableau developer

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and design interactive reports, dashboards, and visualizations using Tableau software.

Ensure data accuracy and consistency by working with databases, particularly Redshift & sqlserver , to extract and manipulate data.

Write SQL queries to retrieve, transform, and aggregate data from databases & demonstrate proficiency in SQL.

Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including data analysts, data engineers, and business stakeholders.

Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather reporting requirements and translate them into actionable visualizations.

Act as a strong team player, contributing to a positive and collaborative work environment.

Communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders, presenting complex information in a clear and understandable manner.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering, or relevant field.

Minimum of 3-5 years of experience as a Data Analyst, with a focus on Tableau dashboard development and SQL development.

Proven experience as a BI Engineer/Developer or similar role, with a strong portfolio showcasing your BI expertise.

In-depth understanding of Tableau software, including advanced features such as LOD expressions and complex calculations.

User access control/row level security (RLS) implementation is must.

Hands-on skill for tableau server administration is added advantage

Experience with Python scripting for data ingestion and integration is an added advantage.

Demonstrated ability to write SQL queries for data retrieval, transformation, and aggregation.

Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen eye for detail.
