Job Title: Tanker Operator
Pre-Requisites:
- Minimum Poly Diploma in Maritime studies or equivalent. A relevant degree or Deck Officer Certificate of Competency would be an added advantage.
- Minimum one year of experience as a Tanker Operator.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- To prepare and send voyage instructions to Masters
- To review and work on stowage of cargoes
- To appoint port agents and arrange pre-funding of port calls
- To liaise with charterers and brokers on ETAs of ships and forwarding of cargo documents
- To bill and collect freight
- To complete laytime statement for demurrage billing
- To review final port disbursement accounts
- To file all relevant port documents and emails
- Other operational related duties as assigned by the management from time to time
