POSITION SUMMARY
Responsible for various aspects of financial control and reporting on a group level. Primarily, support group consolidation, management reporting, treasury, budgeting/forecasting, working capital management and internal controls.
The incumbent will undertake any or all of the following and has authority for:
Transfer Pricing
- Develop and implement robust transfer pricing policies and strategies
- Conduct thorough transfer pricing analyses/study to support intercompany transactions
- Prepare transfer pricing documentation and reports
- Monitor legislative changes in transfer pricing, BEPS and recommending/implementing strategies to ensure continuous compliance
- Advise on transfer pricing adjustments to optimize tax efficiencies of the Group
- Review and analyze transfer pricing agreements and contracts for compliance and effectiveness
- Address and resolve any transfer pricing disputes and develop effective negotiation strategies
- Perform risk assessments related to transfer pricing and propose mitigation strategies
- Organize and track relevant intercompany agreements, including working with finance and legal team
- Keep abreast of international transfer pricing trends and best practices to enhance company policies
Tax Planning
- Advise on tax strategy/opportunities/savings for the Group and provide recommendations/guidance on ways to reduce tax liabilities/exposure
- Advise the impact of tax liabilities and corporate strategies arising from new tax laws
- Support strategic tax planning for new business initiatives
- Work closely with tax professionals, if any, on tax planning strategies
Other Duties
- Supervise and oversee matters relating to any tax related audit & tax litigation, if any
- Liaising with tax professionals, tax advisor and tax authorities as needed
- Perform other related duties as assigned or indicated by responsibilities
Candidates with the following prior experience are preferred:
- Worked in Big 4 or MNC
- Singapore and regional tax exposure
- Good Knowledge of local tax regulations in Singapore, Saudi, Malaysia & Indonesia
