In this role, you will assist in lesson preparation, support teachers in co-teaching, and help students with essential self-care skills. You'll collaborate with educators to implement effective classroom management strategies and contribute to the development of individualized behavior plans.

Experience working with children on the autism spectrum is preferred but not necessary, as comprehensive training will be provided. This position offers a chance to create a positive and nurturing learning environment that empowers every student to thrive!

Job Description

• To assist in lesson preparation and support teachers in co-teaching
• To assist students in areas of self-care, grooming and toileting
• To assist and support teachers in collecting simple data on behaviour and progress of students, whenever needed.
• To work with teachers in classroom management matters such as planning and implementing student's behaviour plans, lesson progress, etc

Job Requirement

• Minimum NITEC
• Experience in dealing with children and youths with autism is preferred but not a must.
• Training Provided
