Position Overview:
We are seeking a compassionate and energetic Teaching Assistant to join our dynamic team. The role involves supporting lead teachers in delivering engaging, adventure-based learning experiences for children. At ONE, we believe that our educational approach not only helps children thrive but also positively impacts the well-being of their entire families.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Support Learning Activities: Assist the lead teacher in creating an environment of exploration, discovery, and adventure. Help implement lessons and activities designed to foster children's academic, social, and emotional development.
  2. Encourage Independence: Guide children in developing skills that promote independence, helping them gain confidence as they discover their strengths.
  3. Behavioural Support: Work with children individually or in small groups to provide behavioural guidance, ensuring their progress aligns with the set goals.
  4. Family Involvement: Help coordinate with parents and caregivers, offering insights and feedback on how each child's development positively influences their family life.
  5. Resource Preparation: Assist in preparing teaching materials and resources to support creative and hands-on learning experiences.
  6. Classroom Management: Maintain a supportive, safe, and organized classroom environment where children feel empowered to explore and engage.
  7. Collaboration: Work closely with therapists, special education professionals, and other support staff to ensure a holistic approach to each child's development.
