Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Team Lead for our client Private Banking division. The ideal candidate will oversee a team of private bankers, driving client satisfaction and business growth while ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements. This role requires strong leadership skills, a deep understanding of private banking services, and a commitment to delivering exceptional client experiences.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead, mentor, and develop a team of private bankers to achieve individual and team performance targets.
- Foster a collaborative and high-performance culture within the team.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with high-net-worth clients, providing personalized banking and investment solutions.
- Oversee the management of client portfolios, ensuring alignment with their financial goals.
- Develop and implement strategies to enhance client acquisition and retention.
- Analyze market trends and client feedback to identify opportunities for service improvement.
- Ensure adherence to all regulatory and compliance standards within the team.
- Monitor and mitigate risks associated with client portfolios and banking operations.
- Set clear performance expectations and conduct regular reviews to assess team performance.
- Provide coaching and support to team members in achieving their professional development goals.
- Work closely with other departments, including Investment Services, Credit, and Operations, to deliver seamless service to clients.
- Participate in cross-functional initiatives to drive overall business growth.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field
- CACS certification
- Minimum 6 years of experience in private banking or wealth management, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
- Strong understanding of financial products, investment strategies, and risk management principles.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets and managing client relationships effectively.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
- This role is required to interact and engage chinese speaking clients. Mandarin speaking is required for this position.
