Our client is looking for a Senior UI ( React + Typescript) Developer with team lead experience to design, develop and implement new user interface applications across the organisation in line with technology and business bjectives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Hands on software development 70% of the time to develop and support enterprise systems, data interfaces, and integrations to deliver new features and enhancements.
- 30% of the time plan and manage technical tasks, lead a team and schedules to ensure delivery throughout the product lifecycle.
- Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including project sponsors, business leaders, technical teams, and external partners.
- Collaborate with Product Management stakeholders to understand requirements and develop strategies that meet their needs.
- Act as a solution architect across the domain, setting the strategy for architecture evolution towards a strategic target state.
- Contribute to the implementation of engineering policies and practices to guide teams to high levels of quality and ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
- Role model technology best practices and coding standards across the team.
- Provide input into budget and resource planning.
Requirements:
- 8+ years of relevant experience in Web - UI - Front End software development, with at least 2+ years of experience leading high-performing software development teams.
- Extensive experience in technology delivery within financial organizations, preferably with some experience in corporate functions departments.
- Ability to communicate effectively across technical and non-technical audiences, translating complex technical concepts into business terms.
- Excellent presentation, communication (oral and written), and relationship-building skills across all levels of management.
- Hands-on technical skills using , Typescript and React JS, Kotlin, Spring Boot, Kubernetes / OpenShift architecture
- Experience with AWS architecture is preferred.
- Experience with Agile and TDD methodologies is advantageous.
