Red Hat is looking for recent graduates in Singapore to join us in a group of 16 early talent professionals as a Technical Graduate (up to 3 years after graduation), starting from Oct 1, 2024 on a 12 month fixed term contract. In this role, youll take part in a 12-month intensive structured learning program, covering onboarding, soft skills training, and completion of Red Hats technical certifications. You will immerse yourself in Red Hats technical solutions like Cloud, Containerisation, and Open Source Software, and have the opportunity to gain practical experience through shadowing and learning assignments within our Consulting and Pre Sales functions. You will be assigned a mentor and buddy who will support you throughout the program duration, in addition to receiving regular development reviews to ensure you gain the necessary insights into your progress and development.
Primary Job Responsibilities
Use your technical knowledge and business understanding when assisting with specific customer projects under the supervision and mentoring of experienced Red Hatters
Constantly learn about new Red Hats technologies and apply those concepts to customer needs
Assist Red Hat team members in setting expectations and delivering solutions on customer sites
Build and maintain solid relationships with your colleagues and our customers
Complete a number of training courses at Red Hat and earn both internally and externally recognized certifications
Bring innovative ideas to the project team while identifying new business opportunities
What you will bring:
Passion for open source technology, customer service, and desire to build a career in the IT industry
Tertiary qualification (Bachelors Degree or Diploma) in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, Business, Data Science or a related field of study
Recent graduate or graduated within past 3 years and have not participated in any Infocomm Media Development Authority (IMDA) Company-Led training / career conversion program or other placement programmes before
Ability to work effectively both on your own and as part of a team
Ability to collaborate with internal and external customers; excellent communication skills
Demonstrated technical, analytical, and problem-solving skills
Motivated with positive approach and willingness to learn
