Define, prioritize, and execute the product roadmap, ensuring alignment with business goals for front-office Equities technology.
Act as Scrum Master champion, facilitating agile ceremonies including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives.
Engage with front-office traders, portfolio managers, and stakeholders to gather requirements, provide updates, and align on deliverables.
Translate business requirements into technical specifications and manage the product backlog to ensure development readiness.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Development, QA, and DevOps, to ensure high-quality, timely delivery.
Drive continuous improvement, promoting transparency, accountability, and efficiency within agile teams.
Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and manage risks related to equities application development.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Finance, or a related field.
At least 10 years total work experience with minimum 5+ years as a Scrum Master or Product Manager, with specific experience in Equities applications within an investment banking front-office environment.
Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or equivalent agile certification preferred.
Strong knowledge of equities trading workflows and front-office technology systems.
Proficiency in Agile methodologies and tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence).
Familiarity with Equities applications, trading platforms, and regulatory requirements.
Knowledge of Unix/Linux, FIX protocol, messaging systems (e.g., Solace), and data analytics platforms.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills, capable of engaging and influencing stakeholders at all levels.
