Our client is one of Singapore's leading A1 construction firms which has a strong construction portfolio in large scale building project. They are looking for a Technical Manager / Deputy Technical Manager who is experienced in overseeing the construction of large scale commercial building project.
Job Description:
- Leading a team of Engineers in resolving construction and technical issues on drawings
- Leading the coordination of the technical department and monitors the design development
- Attend meetings, conduct site inspection on work progress and detect design errors and drawing discrepancies
- Propose solutions to technical problems
- Preparing design brief (timeline, process control, quality control)
- Liaise with internal (senior management / architects team / quantity surveyors) and external stakeholders (client / sub-contractor / authority etc) to ensure the work fulfil the requirement in terms of functionality and operationality.
- Monitor the design development and mitigate any project risks
- Supervising drafting and modelling works
- Obtain technical clearance to client and sub-contractors
Requirements:
- Min Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering
- Possesses at least 8-10 years of experience in managing design and construction for large scale building projects such as high rise commercial / mixed-development / private high rise residential
- Demonstrates strong technical competence and excellent time management skills
- Confident individual with excellent interpersonal skills in leading a team
