Responsibilities:
- Leads the technical team to support construction team for all design matters
- Reviews all technical documentation and drawings of the Project works
- Works closely with the appointed Consultants and construction team on designs and project deliverables to enhance site efficiency and constructability
- Leads on the design approval from the Authority/Agency including URA,BCA,LTA,PUB etc for the Project works
- Manages design approval process in a timely manner to resolve all technical issues
- Ensures strict compliance of the design in accordance with the contractual requirements
- Ensures the distribution of all the approved and latest drawings and other relevant documents to the relevant parties
- Leads the technical team to work closely with in-house BIM team and resolves all clarifications on technical requirements pertaining to the Project works
- Identifies and highlights to Management and project team of any potential risks or issues that will impact Project performance
- Prepares and presents design progress status and slides to Management, project team and Client as and when required.
- Strong coordination and collaboration with other disciplines (i.e Architectural, MEP, BIM etc.) on design to ensure delivery of high quality outcome
- Supports tender team and prepares technical tender documents as per specifications for bidding of civil and structural engineering projects as and when assigned
- Attends Progress Meeting, Technical Meetings, Coordination Meetings, Site Meetings, etc.
Requirements:
- Candidate must possesses Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering recognized by the Professional Engineering Board
- At least 8-12 years of design experience or design management experience.
