Here is a summary of the role you are applying for

Join their Control and Instrumentation team as a maintenance expert, responsible for ensuring the optimal performance of instrumentation and control systems in their power plant.

Below are some of the key responsibilities for the role

• Executing maintenance work efficiently and effectively, with a focus on safety and regulatory compliance
• Troubleshooting and rectifying equipment failures and malfunctions
• Testing and recommissioning rectified systems and equipment
• Performing overhaul, inspection, calibration, and servicing tasks during scheduled plant outages
• Implementing modification and upgrading plans to enhance system reliability and availability
• Maintaining detailed records and reports using computer-based software (Maximo, MS Word, and MS Excel)
• Assisting Engineers and Technical Officers in maintenance work
• Supervising contractors and ensuring compliance with safety standards

What you'll need to succeed

The successful candidate, should have

• Diploma/NITEC in Electronics Engineering
• Knowledge of Instrumentation and control systems
• 2 years of experience in the Power Plant or Oil and Gas industry (preferred)
• Self-driven and team-oriented with a positive work attitude
• Availability for standby and emergency calls
• Strong safety mindset and good workplace safety behavior
• Willingness to be part of the CERT team and participate in emergency responses
