What You'll Do- Equipment Maintenance and Repair:
- Diagnose and troubleshoot equipment failures and malfunctions across various control and instrumentation systems.
- Perform repairs and corrective actions to restore system functionality.
- Test and recommission rectified systems and equipment to ensure operational readiness.
- Scheduled Maintenance and Overhaul:
- Execute planned maintenance tasks, including overhauls, inspections, calibrations, and servicing during scheduled plant outages.
- Develop and follow maintenance schedules to ensure optimal performance and longevity of plant systems and equipment.
- System Modification and Upgrades:
- Implement modifications, upgrades, and installation plans for control and instrumentation systems to enhance performance, availability, and reliability.
- Collaborate with engineers and technical staff to design and execute system improvements and new installations.
- Documentation and Reporting:
- Maintain detailed and accurate records of all maintenance activities, repairs, and modifications.
- Prepare and manage documentation including work reports, spreadsheets, graphs, and plots using software such as MS Word, and MS Excel.
- Technical Support:
- Provide technical assistance to engineers and other technical officers in the execution of maintenance and repair tasks.
- Offer guidance and support in troubleshooting complex issues and implementing solutions.
- Contractor Supervision:
- Supervise and coordinate with contractors assigned to maintenance and installation tasks to ensure compliance with safety standards and project specifications.
- Monitor contractor performance and ensure that work is completed to the required quality and standards.
- System Expertise:
- Utilize knowledge and skills in Niagara Controls systems to enhance control and instrumentation operations.
- Stay updated with the latest developments and best practices in Niagara Controls technologies.
- Emergency Response:
- Be available on standby after office hours for emergency calls and urgent repairs.
- Participate actively and contribute to emergency response efforts as needed.
- Safety and Compliance:
- Adhere to all safety protocols and practices to maintain a safe working environment.
- Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards in all aspects of work.
What You'll Need
- Diploma / NITEC in Electronics Engineering or a related field from recognized Polytechnics / ITE in Singapore
- In-depth knowledge of instrumentation and control systems.
- Preferably at least 2 years of experience in the BMS / HVAC industry.
- Proficiency in Niagara Controls systems is highly preferred.
- Experience in Johnson Controls is an added advantage.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently with a proactive and positive attitude.
- Strong teamwork skills with a commitment to collaboration and effective communication.
- Availability for standby and emergency response after regular office hours.
- A safety-conscious mindset with a commitment to maintaining high safety standards in the workplace.
