Technical Officer (Projects)
Job Purpose
To carry out site installation work, assembly work, testing, quality inspection and logistic support for project activity.
Responsibilities
Plan and perform site installation, assembly, testing and commissioning of Fare System equipment.
Ensure compliance with work procedures and risk assessment when carrying out any project work.
To support and manage modules / parts movement and logistic control
Carry out the necessary data entries and documentation for testing activity
Practice safe and proper housekeeping.
Carry out any other tasks assigned by the Supervisor.
Qualifications & Work Experience
Candidate must possess at least a Professional Certificate/ NITEC, Engineering (Electrical/Electronic), Engineering (Mechanical), Engineering (Mechatronic/Electromechanical) or equivalent.
Preferably minimum 1-2 years of relevant experience.
Skills
Physically fit and prepared to work night shifts when required.
Exposure to site-work
The candidate should possess technical knowledge and troubleshooting skill
Proficient with safety practices
Understand basic electrical safety procedure
Able to use Microsoft Words and Excel for data entry and report compilation
Able to carry out work using common tools eg test pen, cutter, screwdriver, and multimeter
